Troy University’s Alpha Tau Omega fraternity has achieved a remarkable milestone in their annual Walk Hard philanthropy event, raising a record-breaking $140,000 for Jeep Sullivan’s Wounded Warrior Outdoor Adventures. During their sixth annual trek, 35 fraternity brothers completed a challenging 128.3-mile journey from Troy to Panama City Beach, Florida, demonstrating extraordinary commitment to supporting veterans.

This year’s fundraising effort brings the total amount raised since Walk Hard’s inception in 2009 to nearly $800,000, underscoring the fraternity’s sustained dedication to wounded veterans. The walk not only raises critical funds but also provides a platform for veterans like Retired Air Force Staff Sergeant Mark McDuffie to share their powerful stories of resilience and recovery.
