The Mobile Chamber has been named a finalist for the 2026 Chamber of the Year award, presented by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). ACCE is an association based in Alexandria, Va., with over 1,600 chambers of commerce and related business and economic development organizations as members, representing more than 9,000 professionals in the industry.
Airbus is investing more than $82 million in projects supporting the continued growth of its commercial aircraft operations in Mobile, creating 50 new jobs. The projects include improvements at Airbus’ existing U.S. Manufacturing Facility and the new Airbus Central Distribution Center, or ACDC, scheduled to begin operations in the first quarter of 2027.

Effective August 3, 2026, Rodgers assumed the responsibilities of president and CEO designate under a Board-approved Executive Leadership Transition Governance Framework.
