Partners for Environmental Progress (PEP) Shares Mobile Mayoral Candidates’ Responses on Economic and Environmental Priorities

Mobile, Ala. –  As part of its mission to promote policies that support both economic prosperity and environmental stewardship, Partners for Environmental Progress (PEP) has released a special election resource featuring unedited responses from all qualified candidates in the 2025 City of Mobile mayoral race.

PEP invited each candidate to respond to a series of questions focused on key issues impacting local employers, workers, and the broader community. The goal of the questionnaire is to help PEP’s 200 member companies as well as business leaders, voters, and the public evaluate each candidate’s vision for the city’s future—particularly in areas related to economic development, infrastructure, environmental policy, and sustainable growth. You can find all the responses on the PEP Website.

“We’re proud to offer this resource as a way to support informed decision-making in our community,” said Jennifer Denson, Executive Director of PEP. “Each candidate’s responses provide a candid look at how they plan to address the challenges and opportunities facing Mobile.”

The following candidates submitted responses, listed in alphabetical order:

  • Spiro Cheriogotis
  • Barbara Drummond
  • Connie Hudson
  • Paul Prine

PEP encourages the public to review each candidate’s full, unedited answers, available now on the organization’s website. For additional information, voters can also consult the candidates’ individual campaign websites.
