MOBILE, Ala. – January 1, 2026 – Leavell Investment Management, Inc. (“Leavell”), a registered investment advisor (“RIA”) that provides wealth management solutions for high-net-worth individuals, non-profits, corporate retirement plans, and institutional clients, has acquired N.D. Pitman & Company, Inc. (“NDP”), a wealth management firm also based in Mobile.

Founded by Norman Pitman, NDP has delivered trusted investment advice to clients in South Alabama for over 25 years.

The new partnership creates a combined advisory team of 36 professionals managing approximately $3.6 billion in assets  (as of 12/31/2025).  With the addition of NDP, Leavell will add an office in the Spring Hill area of Mobile, complementing its existing offices in Mobile, Birmingham, and Fairhope.  Financial and legal terms of the deal were not disclosed.
