MOBILE, Ala. — The Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce today announced that Bradley Byrne, president and CEO, has notified the Board of Directors of his intention to retire. Byrne’s last day in the role will be June 30, 2027.

“Earlier today, the Mobile Chamber Board of Directors was notified of my intention to retire, and my last day as president will be June 30, 2027,” said Byrne. “It has been an honor to serve as president and CEO of the Chamber the past four years and to be part of the organization’s remarkable progress. The honor of being named one of the top three chambers in the nation is a testament to our Board’s leadership and to our great Chamber team. When I was hired, I was asked to commit to serve five years, and that date is now one year away.”

During his tenure, Byrne has led the Mobile Chamber through significant growth, including the organization’s recognition as one of the top three chambers of commerce in the nation, the continued expansion of regional economic development efforts and the strengthening of the Chamber’s role as a leading voice for the Mobile business community.

The Board of Directors will determine the process for naming Byrne’s successor. Byrne will continue to serve in his current role through the transition period.
