Mobile, Alabama – Franklin Primary Health Center (FPHC) is proud to announce the addition of Family Medicine Physician Dr. Jay R. Colbert, Jr., DO, to its care team at the Franklin Medical Mall, located at 1303 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Mobile.

Dr. Colbert is a board-certified family medicine physician with nearly 20 years of experience. Throughout his career, Dr. Colbert has focused on providing patient-centered care. He has also held several clinical leadership roles, including Medical Director, Chief of Staff, and Chief Medical Officer. At Franklin, he will also serve as the Assistant Chief Medical Officer.

Dr. Colbert earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his family practice residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Horizon Hospital in Farrell, Pennsylvania.
