MOBILE, Alabama (Sept. 2, 2025) – For the second time in three months, USA Health has been named one of the best employers in Alabama by Forbes. The latest recognition positions the health system for the University of South Alabama as one of America’s Best-in-State Employers for 2025. USA Health placed 35th on the list of top employers in the state, joining a distinguished group of organizations across industries, including healthcare, education, retail, restaurants, travel, and others.

The annual ranking, developed by Forbes in partnership with Statista, is based on a comprehensive survey of more than 160,000 employees across the United States. Eligible organizations included companies and institutions with at least 500 employees. Respondents provided feedback on key factors such as fair pay, workplace culture, opportunities for career advancement, and how well their employers address significant workplace issues. Employees were also invited to share their perspectives on previous employers and other organizations within their industries, creating a broad view of workplace satisfaction.
