The Panini Senior Bowl and United States Sports University are Partnering in a Sports Expo during Senior Bowl Game Week
MOBILE, Ala. – The Senior Bowl and the United States Sports University are proud to announce a new partnership to host the inaugural Panini Senior Bowl Sports Expo & Career Fair, taking place during Senior Bowl Game Week, Thursday – Saturday, January 29-31, 2026.
This partnership brings together two of Mobile’s most iconic sports institutions — the Senior Bowl and the United States Sports University — to host a dynamic event connecting students, job seekers, and professionals to exciting opportunities across the sports industry.
The 2026 Panini Senior Bowl Sports Expo is a multi-day event held during Senior Bowl Week, designed to connect students and aspiring sports professionals with industry leaders from across the nation. Described as “a revolutionary convergence of athletic excellence and career opportunity,” the Expo provides a unique platform for networking, professional development, and career advancement within the ever-growing sports industry. This event will feature representatives from professional and collegiate athletic programs, sports media organizations, health and performance companies, event management groups, and other key sectors within the sports industry. Attendees will have the chance to network, learn about career pathways, and meet directly with employers and decision-makers from across the country.
“We want Senior Bowl Week to be a celebration of all aspects of the sports world — from competition and community to education and career development,” said Senior Bowl Executive Director Drew Fabianich. “Teaming up with the United States Sports University allows us to create real opportunities for students and professionals right here in Mobile.”
The United States Sports University, headquartered in Daphne, Alabama, has long been recognized for its academic excellence and leadership in preparing individuals for careers in sports. Many of the university’s alumni have gone on to serve in prominent roles throughout collegiate and professional athletics, including positions connected to multiple professional sports teams and international sports organizations.

As part of the event, Dr. Stephanie Cameron, Director of the Center for Sport Psychology at USSU and Owner of Pivot Sport Psychology Consulting, will lead an engaging Mental Performance Workshop focused on the psychological aspects of athletic performance. Dr. Cameron will share practical strategies for building focus, resilience, and success in high-pressure environments, offering attendees valuable insights into the mental side of sport and competition.

About Panini Senior Bowl
The Panini Senior Bowl is widely recognized as the premier college football all-star game and the official first step in the NFL Draft process. For more than 76 years, Mobile, Alabama has proudly hosted this historic event, the longest continually running all-star game in football. Each year, the Senior Bowl draws more than 900 NFL personnel—including decision-makers from all 32 teams—and over 1,100 members of the national media. The game’s impact is unmatched: the 2025 NFL Draft featured 106 Senior Bowl alumni, accounting for 40 percent of all selections. At the start of the NFL season, 561 former Senior Bowl players appeared on initial 53-man rosters, representing one-third of the entire NFL and 23 former players appeared on the NFL’s annual Top 100 list.
