Mobile, Ala. — Spring Hill College has earned top spots on two national lists this fall that highlight both its academic value and campus beauty. Southern Living has once again named Spring Hill College among the Most Beautiful College Campuses in the South for 2025, while U.S. News & World Report ranks the College No. 7 among the 2026 Best Value Schools for Regional Colleges in the South, as well as No. 12 overall and a Top Performer in Social Mobility.

“These recognitions reflect who we are, an institution that offers an exceptional education in an inspiring environment,” said Dr. Mary H. Van Brunt, President of Spring Hill College. “We are proud to be recognized not only for our academic excellence and accessibility but also for the natural beauty and sense of community that make Spring Hill such a special place.”

In its Most Beautiful Campuses feature, Southern Living highlights the College’s iconic Avenue of the Oaks, a hallmark of the Spring Hill experience. The publication writes that “graduates sit among these towering trees, lined with rows of pink azaleas, as they face a commencement stage in front of Stewartfield… During their time at this liberal arts school, they will likely frequent the Rydex Commons, the exquisite St. Joseph Chapel, and other scenic spots that make the campus a true Southern gem.”

Meanwhile, U.S. News & World Report honored Spring Hill College for its strong balance of quality and affordability. The Best Value ranking reflects both academic performance and the net cost of attendance for students receiving need-based financial aid, affirming Spring Hill’s commitment to making an excellent education accessible to students from all backgrounds.

“This accolade reflects the incredible value of a Spring Hill education,” said Arlene Cash, Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing. “Today’s students are seeking more than a degree; they’re looking for a supportive community, accessible opportunities, and a strong return on investment. These rankings validate the strides we’ve taken to make Spring Hill’s education both excellent and attainable.”

The College’s continued growth includes the launch of innovative programs in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Strategic Communication, Digital Communication and Social Influence, and Exercise Science. Additionally, through recent strategic alliances with Rockhurst University and Kansas City University, Spring Hill students in health science programs have access to collaborative pathways into graduate programs in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Osteopathic Medical and Osteopathic Dental, with additional opportunities.

From its Jesuit tradition of forming the whole person, mind, body, and spirit to its historic beauty and modern academic innovation, Spring Hill College continues to stand out as a leader in higher education across the Gulf Coast and beyond. Prospective students and families are encouraged to experience the campus for themselves.
