MOBILE, Ala. – The Mobile Chamber has named RS Moving & Warehousing as a Small Business of the Month.

From one truck and a single crew to a growing operation serving customers across the Gulf Coast and beyond, RS Moving & Warehousing has spent the past 15 years building a reputation for dependable service and straightforward pricing.

Founded in 2011 by Kyle Richardson, the company began with modest roots, completing moves for the University of South Alabama. “We started with a truck, a trailer and one crew,” Richardson said. “Our focus was simple: work hard, communicate clearly and take care of every customer.”

What began as a small local moving service has grown into a full-scale residential, commercial and medical moving company. Today, RS Moving & Warehousing runs four local crews daily and employs five over-the-road drivers specializing in long-haul moves for household goods. The company also handles decommission and installation projects, along with warehouse services that include storage and distribution.

Kyle’s wife, Lauren, later joined the business as co-owner, helping establish a stronger operational foundation to support continued growth. Together, they have expanded the company’s capabilities while maintaining its family-owned, locally-operated values.
