Figures Construction & Development, Inc. has been named the Mobile Chamber’s Small Business of the Month, recognizing more than 35 years of quality construction, thoughtful development and commitment to creating opportunities throughout the Mobile community.

Founded in 1989 by Norman Figures, Figures Construction & Development began as a roofing contractor built on integrity, hard work, quality craftsmanship and service to the community. From the beginning, Norman Figures envisioned a generational business that would create opportunities extending beyond his own generation. He prepared his son, Rashawn Figures, to carry that vision forward and lead the company following his graduation from the University of Alabama.

Today, Figures Construction & Development has grown from its roofing roots into a diversified general contracting and development firm. The company’s capabilities include roofing, vertical construction and renovation, plumbing and utility infrastructure, aviation construction, heavy civil work and engineering. Figures Construction & Development is also a co-owner of Alabama’s first minority-owned concrete plant.

Under the leadership of Rashawn Figures, the company remains grounded in the values established by his father while continuing to expand its capabilities and impact. Figures Construction & Development approaches each project with a focus on communication, accountability, responsiveness and quality.
