PEP Announces New Board of Directors Officers

Mobile, Ala. – Partners for Environmental Progress (PEP), is pleased to announce the newest officers of the PEP Board of Directors. Coming from engineering, environmental safety, and industrial sales, the new officers bring years of experience and leadership to help advance the PEP mission.

The new officers of the board include:

  • President – Allen Simpson, Division Operations Leader at Hargrove Engineers & Constructors
  • Vice President – Michael “Gene” Rader, Safety, Health and Environmental Manager at High Purity Silicon America Corporation
  • Secretary/Treasurer – Carmen Pino, Senior Vice President of Sales at Outokumpu Stainless USA
  • Past President – Steve Stewart, National Director of Sustainability at SCS Engineers

“We are proud to welcome our new officers to their leadership positions,” said Jennifer Denson, PEP’s Executive Director. “Their diverse backgrounds will bring a fresh perspective to our organization as we cap off our 25th anniversary year. We look forward to their leadership and contributions as we further the PEP mission.”

The new officers were formally voted into their positions at the PEP February Board Meeting. They will each serve a term of one year. The PEP Board of Directors has 28 members representing the 200+ member companies committed to promoting economic prosperity and environmental sustainability in the area.
