MOBILE, Ala. – The Mobile Chamber has named MYER Companies its 2025 Manufacturer of the Year, recognizing the family-owned metal fabrication company for its operational excellence, consistent growth and strong contribution to Mobile’s industrial economy.

Founded in 2013, MYER has grown into a leading provider of metal fabrication, machining and field services, employing more than 200 team members and serving major dredging, construction, oil and gas and industrial contractors across the nation. The company’s turnkey capabilities, from build-to-print and design to installation, have positioned it as a preferred partner in highly specialized sectors.

Over the past 12 years, MYER has experienced record year-over-year growth, driving new investment and job creation in Mobile. The company is currently adding 36,000 square feet of new manufacturing space at its Mobile facility and adding 50 to 60 full-time positions to support growing demand.

Customer focus has been central to MYER’s success. The company’s dedication to quality is reflected in industry recognition, including Quality Control Manager Michael Bailey receiving the American Welding Society’s Certified Welding Inspector of the Year for the Mobile sector.

MYER continues to invest heavily in workforce development, partnering with the Southwest Alabama Partnership for Training and Employment, participating in apprenticeship programs and serving in advisory roles for local college technical programs.
