Mobile, Ala. — The Mobile Parks and Recreation Department (MPRD) has released its latest Activity Guide, highlighting hundreds of events, activities and programs for Mobilians to enjoy in early 2026.

If you’re looking to keep that New Year’s resolution on track, the MPRD Winter/Spring 2026 Activity Guide includes all kinds of wellness initiatives, like a 30-day fitness calendar highlighting the events, programs and city facilities that help keep Mobile moving. It also includes opportunities for local students to explore the world around them through MPRD’s upcoming Science, Technology, Recreation, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STREAM) sessions, beginning in March.

These recurring events will be happening alongside some great cultural celebrations, including a celebration of the 100th anniversary of Black History Month and its founder, Dr. Carter G. Woodson.

The Activity Guide also has all the information you need to register for youth sports this winter and spring, including information on the baseball and softball leagues beginning in April. This season, we’re also unveiling a new program called Adaptive Golf for All. This six-week clinic at the Azalea City Golf Course is designed to provide children with disabilities and special needs an inclusive opportunity to learn the game of golf, build confidence and experience our beautiful municipal course.

As always, this latest Activity Guide also highlights the hundreds of classes and activities for adults and seniors, including bingo games, wreath making, fishing, Zumba, music lessons and more. If you live in the City of Mobile, there is something exciting happening at an MPRD facility near you.

“Our Winter/Spring 2026 Activity Guide reflects MPRD’s mission to serve the whole community,” said Kim Carmody, Senior Director of the Mobile Parks and Recreation Department. “These programs help make Mobile a healthier, happier and more connected city.”
