Mobile Museum of Art to Host a Slate of Fun Fall Programs
MOBILE, Ala. – Beginning on October 30, 2025, Mobile Museum of Art will kick off a series of fun and festive holiday programs including Fall Food Truck Fest, the return of Pups & Pumpkins, and the annual Holiday Market & Open House.
“With a strategic plan focus on providing Invitations to participate for all, our team is very excited about these upcoming events,” said Executive Director Jon Carfagno. “These programs have been planned to provide fun and memorable experiences for participants of every age and background.”
The Museum’s commitment to community continues with this lively schedule of interactive programs and MMofA fan-favorites, such as:
- Fall Food Truck Fest on Thursday, October 30 from 3 to 7 pm. It’s back and spookier than ever! Join us for a night with more than 20 food trucks, live music from DJ Tech, and a magical adventure through our one-night-only Haunted Forest, Fantastical Forest, and newly renovated FOR CHILDREN: The Elements of Art and Design exhibition. Plus, earn a candy bag when you visit all three of the magical zones! Costumes are encouraged, but not required.
-
Pups & Pumpkins on Saturday, November 15 from 11 am to 2 pm. This program is a perfect celebration of art, animals, and autumn treats. Get creative by registering to paint a portrait of your pet with artist Lucy Gafford for a low-cost family class, or watch glassblowing with Muffinjaw Designs. Plus, there will be a cozy hot cocoa and s’mores bar and adoptable pups from local shelters hoping to find their forever families.
-
Holiday Market & Open House on Saturday, December 13 from 1 to 5 pm. Another hour was added to this ever-popular program that brings together local shopping, live music, food trucks, festive activities, and art! More than 20 vendors will have a variety of handmade items, such as jewelry, pottery, self-care products, and more. Plus, the whole family can gather in our Education Wing to decorate clay ornaments together.
In addition to the fun activities, admission to the Museum will be free all day for each program, encouraging visitors to explore the wide variety of world-class exhibitions at MMofA including JUAN LOGAN: Without Stopping, CRYPTIC UNDER WING: Glass and Mixed Media by Rachel Wright, and Vuzumazulu: The Black Solarium.
These programs are generously supported by the Alabama Support the Arts License Tag Grant Program, The Caring Foundation of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, and The Daniel Foundation of Alabama.
