Mobile Chamber Names Jennifer Tremayne as Director of Investor Relations
MOBILE, Ala. – The Mobile Chamber is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Tremayne to the newly created position of director of investor relations. In this new role, she will lead efforts to strengthen relationships with the Chamber’s top-level investors and develop strategies that enhance engagement, communication and return on investment for key stakeholders. The creation of this position reflects the Chamber’s commitment to its investors and a recognition of their vital role in supporting Mobile’s continued economic momentum.
“We created the director of investor relations role as part of our strategic plan to better serve our members and keep pace with the extraordinary economic growth happening in Mobile,” said Mobile Chamber President and CEO Bradley Byrne. “Everyone hears me say, ‘We’re not slowing down!’ and I mean it. There’s too much to accomplish, and our investors – whether event sponsors, members of the Board of Advisors or Partners for Growth – make it possible.”
Jennifer Tremayne joined the Chamber in 2022 and most recently served as existing industry manager in the economic development department, where she led business retention and expansion initiatives. A Mobile native, she brings more than 20 years of experience as a certified Economic Development Finance Professional and as a consulting advisor for communities across the country on strategic planning and capital campaigns.
“Every day, the Mobile Chamber opens doors – whether it’s helping members build relationships, sharpen professional skills, grow their business or engage with community leaders,” Tremayne said. “We advocate for business interests and move the needle on economic opportunity for all. My goal is to ensure Chamber investors are connected to that impact and are informed and active partners in these efforts.”
“Jennifer’s expertise and passion for the Chamber’s mission make her the perfect fit for this new role,” said David Rodgers, CEcD, vice president of economic development. “We’re thrilled to have her step into this leadership role.”
