The Mobile Chamber is excited to welcome John Charles Erwin back for another summer with the Economic Development team.

John Charles is studying business management at the University of Alabama and describes himself as hard working, patient and goal driven. After spending last summer with the Chamber, he said the team culture made a lasting impression.

“After my time last summer with the Economic Development team, I really enjoyed the culture they surround you with,” he said. “I was immediately welcomed and able to get to work to help me start building my career.”

This summer, John Charles is looking forward to connecting with brokers and developers across the area while helping build an industrial real estate report for Mobile and Baldwin counties alongside another intern from the Baldwin County Economic Development Alliance.

After graduation, he hopes to pursue a career in commercial and industrial real estate development and brokerage.

Outside of work and school, John Charles enjoys fishing, spending time on the boat and being with family and friends.
