Flight Works Alabama has a new managing director at the helm, and big things are taking off!

Last Monday, March 10, friends, family, community partners and civic leaders including Mayor Cheriogotis gathered for Take Flight celebrating Flight Works Alabama’s next chapter. Guests explored recent exhibit upgrades, including the enhanced Flight Deck simulator, and heard from new managing director, Mary Frances Clarke as well as Nathan England, Vice President of Airbus’ A320 Program in Mobile.

This Friday, March 20, Flight Works will celebrate the graduation of 45 students from FlightPath9, a hands-on aviation apprenticeship program created through a partnership with Flight Works, Bishop State Community College and Airbus. The graduation showcases the program’s impact in preparing local students for careers in aviation.
