Bottles Up Mobile Named Finalist for 2025 Small Business of the Year Award
MOBILE, Ala. — The Mobile Chamber has named Bottles Up Mobile Inc. a finalist for the 2025 Small Business of the Year Award, recognizing the company’s continued growth, community involvement and excellence in hospitality service across South Alabama.
Bottles Up Mobile is an on-call event bar service that specializes in navigating Alabama’s complex alcohol laws for events ranging from private gatherings to large festivals. The company provides licensed bartenders for off-site events and assists clients with securing necessary permits and managing the logistics of alcohol service.
The business originated in 2014 as Red Bar Beverage Catering, operating out of The Pillars of Mobile. In 2017, it was rebranded as Bottles Up LLC, and Bratton McGregor joined as a partner. In 2020, McGregor assumed sole ownership and began scaling operations, handling more than 200 events during the pandemic year. That number grew to nearly 400 in 2021 and more than 500 in 2023. In 2024, Bottles Up Mobile managed over 800 events and expanded into the Montgomery and Auburn markets.
The company formally incorporated as Bottles Up Mobile Inc. in 2022, the same year it completed construction of a new operations facility in Grand Bay.
Bottles Up Mobile is actively engaged in the community through donations to local raffles, support for schools and sports teams, and by offering service discounts to nonprofit organizations. The company credits much of its success to the support and referrals it has received from the Mobile Chamber.
“With more than a decade in the hospitality industry, we pride ourselves on professionalism, efficiency and outstanding service from the moment our clients reach out to us,” said McGregor. “We are honored to be recognized among the top small businesses in the region.”
Finalists for the Small Business of the Year Award are selected based on business performance, innovation, community involvement and commitment to excellence. Winners will be announced later this year.
The 2025 Mobile Chamber Small Business of the Year applications are currently being accepted. Each monthly finalist will receive a $500 award and may be named the Chamber’s 2025 winner and receive $10,000. There are eleven chances to win so the earlier you apply, the better your odds.
