Bender CCP Establishes Mobile Facility to Support Growing Maritime Industry
MOBILE, Ala. – Bender CCP announces plans to open a new Gulf Region facility in Mobile Commerce Park, expanding its operations to support the maritime industrial base and growing shipbuilding and ship repair activity along the Gulf Coast.

Located at 5502 Todd Acres Drive in Mobile Commerce Park, the company’s new 22,000-square-foot machine shop facility represents a $4.1 million investment and with plans to grow to 10 employees by the end of the year.
The facility will provide propulsion shaft machining and other specialized services supporting U.S. Navy vessels and commercial maritime operations. The Mobile facility expands Bender CCP’s footprint beyond its existing West Coast operations in California, Washington and Oregon.
“Bender CCP is very excited about establishing its presence in Mobile to support the Gulf Coast and East Coast regions with premier machine shop and field services. Bender CCP has a very long history of working with the U.S. Navy and other Department of Defense agencies as well as the commercial sector on the West Coast and looks forward to bringing the same high-quality service to Mobile. Our presence will enhance the maritime and commercial industrial bases in the region.” said Mark Langner, business development manager, ship repair.
The new operation strengthens Mobile’s role as a national center for maritime manufacturing and defense support, adding specialized capabilities that support the U.S. Navy and the broader maritime industrial base.
“Mobile’s maritime sector continues to grow, and companies like Bender CCP play an important role in supporting the industrial capabilities that keep our nation’s fleet moving,” said Bradley Byrne, president and CEO of the Mobile Chamber.
Bender CCP brings decades of experience supporting both the maritime industrial base and commercial industries. The company is NAVSEA, ABS and ISO 9001 certified and provides machine shop services, ship repair support and industrial services for defense and commercial customers.

“Bender CCP’s new Gulf Region facility will strengthen an already thriving maritime industry here in the City of Mobile. I’m proud they chose our city for an expansion, and I’m excited to see their success here in the Port City.”
