Bay Landscaping Named 2025 Mobile Chamber Small Business of the Year
MOBILE, Ala. – Bay Landscaping has been named the 2025 Mobile Chamber Small Business of the Year.
The announcement was made during the Small Business of the Year Awards Luncheon, presented by Voyager Lending, held Friday, December 12 at the Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel.
Founded in 2007 by John “Hank” Parker, Bay Landscaping has grown from a one-man lawn care operation into one of the Gulf Coast’s leading full-service landscape providers. Today, the company employs more than 60 people, operates a fleet of more than 30 vehicles and serves more than 200 commercial clients across Alabama, Mississippi and Florida.
“Bay Landscaping represents the very best of Mobile’s small business community,” said Mobile Chamber President and CEO Bradley Byrne. “From its humble beginnings to becoming a trusted regional employer, the company has grown by staying true to its values, investing in its people and delivering quality service year after year.”
The annual Small Business of the Year Awards recognize outstanding local businesses with 100 or fewer employees. Applicants are evaluated by an independent committee based on business operations, innovation and strategy, financial position and community impact.
“Everything that we do is built around, exercising our core values, our mission, our vision statement, and our purpose to create lasting relationships that are built on trust and quality,” said Parker.
Bay Landscaping offers comprehensive landscape maintenance and installation services, including irrigation installation and repair, seasonal color design, turf care, hardscapes, tree services and plant healthcare. With branch locations in Mobile and Baldwin County, the company is known for its commitment to quality, accountability and long-term client relationships.
Beyond its business success, Bay Landscaping remains deeply invested in the community. The company is actively engaged with the Mobile Chamber and Young Professionals of Mobile, supports local schools and youth programs, contributes to workforce training initiatives and participates in disaster relief efforts. Parker also serves on the Mobile Chamber’s Board of Advisors.
Bay Landscaping was selected from a competitive group of 11 finalists representing a wide range of industries across the Mobile area.
