Blake Wingard is the office team & support lead for Lewis Communications and joined the Mobile Chamber Ambassador in 2025. Through the Ambassador program, Blake helps support Chamber events and foster connections among local businesses and professionals.

Why did you become a Chamber Ambassador?

“I’m a Chamber Ambassador because I genuinely love Mobile. I was born and raised here, so this city means a lot to me. I love seeing Mobile grow, flourish and thrive, and being able to play even a small part in supporting that growth is incredibly meaningful to me.”

What does the Mobile Chamber mean to you and your business?

“The Mobile Chamber means a great deal to me because it creates so many opportunities, both for business and on a personal level. I love the networking events, staying connected to what is happening in Mobile, and seeing firsthand all the ways the Chamber is helping our city grow. I especially appreciate the work of the economic development team and the Chamber as a whole in continuing to move Mobile forward.”

What advice would you give to someone new to the Chamber?

“My advice to someone new to the Chamber would be to stay open to every opportunity that comes your way. Introduce yourself to new people, show up to events, and take the time to really listen and learn from others. There are so many people involved who care deeply about Mobile and have a lot of knowledge and experience to share, so the more open and engaged you are, the more you will get out of it.”
