2026 Eagle Award Winner: B.E. Brown & Co. Mortuary
For Bobbie Brown, caring for families is a calling that spans more than five decades. At B.E. Brown & Co. Mortuary, that commitment connects generations of funeral service professionals through a shared purpose: serving families with dignity, compassion and personalized care.
A 2026 Mobile Chamber Eagle Award recipient, the mortuary was founded in 2022, but its roots in service reach much further. Brown has served the Mobile community since 1978, bringing a lifetime of experience to the family business.
Alongside him are his daughter, Jessica Brown-Bell, and her husband, Brandon Bell Sr., both licensed funeral service professionals. Together, they are carrying his values forward while helping shape the next generation of funeral service in Mobile.
Their approach combines professional guidance with personal attention, helping each family honor a loved one in a way that reflects that person’s life and wishes. During a difficult time, that care gives families support as they make deeply personal decisions.
With a team of 14 employees, B.E. Brown & Co. Mortuary also extends its commitment beyond the families it serves. Through support for churches, schools, civic organizations and community initiatives, the business contributes to the community it calls home.
As the mortuary grows, its purpose remains personal: honoring each life and caring for the people left behind.
The Mobile Chamber congratulates B.E. Brown & Co. Mortuary on being named a 2026 Eagle Award recipient.
