Why did you become a Chamber Ambassador?

“To spread the word about the importance of partnering with the Chamber. To let others know that being connected with a group of like minded business people helps you to grow on both a personal level as well as a professional level.”

What does the Mobile Chamber mean to you and your business?

“Being a member of the Chamber gives your business an opportunity to meet new people to collaborate and network with. It also gives you an opportunity to share your talents and give back to the community by connecting with non-profits. The Chamber offers many resources and classes to help you get your business growing and expanding. The Mobile Chamber Expo is an awesome and excellent resource for networking both with Chamber members as well as guests.”

What advice would you give to someone new to the Chamber?

“I would recommend that you shake the shyness and just introduce yourself to as many new faces as possible. Meeting new people brings so many opportunities to get to know the person, the company, their missions and their connections. You have to give of your time and talents to receive. If you are joining a Chamber just to get new business and say the Chamber hasn’t done anything for me then this is for the wrong reason. Don’t expect everyone to become your customer. You have to develop trust and friendship with your new meets. The Chamber gives us a place, an opportunity to share our business with us and to cultivate business partnerships.”
