Mobile Arts Council extends sincere thanks to this year’s prize sponsors—Ashland Gallery, Sophiella Gallery, Lupercalia Art Society, The Mobile Museum of Art, and The Frenchmen—as well as to juror Kimberly Zukley for her thoughtful selection of works. We are also grateful to the students and professors whose participation makes this exhibition possible year after year.
FIVE is a biennial juried exhibition featuring work by students from five local colleges and universities. The exhibition provides an opportunity for emerging artists to present their work in a professional gallery setting, connect with fellow creatives, and gain public recognition. Participation is open to all students enrolled during the current academic year at Bishop State Community College, Coastal Alabama Community College, Spring Hill College, the University of Mobile, and the University of South Alabama. Students are not required to major in art or be enrolled in art courses to participate.
