Rebuilding Together of South Alabama, a nonprofit dedicated to repairing homes and revitalizing communities, has been serving local residents since March 2024. Their mission is to ensure families live in safe, healthy homes by providing critical repairs through a dedicated network of volunteers and supporters. This partnership with Connect Mobile aims to supply the necessary tools to make a meaningful impact in the lives of community members.

“Access to home improvement tools is a game changer,” said Trista Stout-Walker, Executive Director, at Rebuilding Together of South Alabama. “Many in our community could address their household needs if they had access to resources. The Tool Share program fills that gap and empowers homeowners while enhancing our ability to take on more projects.”

How to Help
Donations of new and gently used tools are being collected at the Tool Share drop-off event. The organization welcomes a wide variety of tools, including basic hand tools like hammers and screwdrivers, as well as power tools and storage bins. In addition to tool donations, monetary contributions are also appreciated.

These donations will enable volunteers and community members to complete critical home repairs for families in need throughout the region. Your generosity will help provide safer, more livable homes for many.
