The Senior Bowl Player Parade will be held on Friday, January 31st. This year, the Senior Bowl Player Parade will return to its original route, beginning at Church St. and Royal St., and west on Dauphin St. through Cathedral Square. Take pictures with the players and give them a high-five on the parade route, see college mascots from all over the country, local high school bands, Mardi Gras floats, the New Orleans Saints Cheer Krewe, and many more.
Immediately following the parade, please join us for our FREE downtown concert, located at Cathedral Square, featuring multi-platinum country band Eli Young Band. Led by an unmistakable vocal and bringing a Texas-rock edge to modern country, the never-changing lineup of Mike Eli, James Young, Jon Jones, and Chris Thompson have spent two-plus decades on the run, growing from hometown heroes into globe-trotting, chart-topping pioneers. After becoming icons of Texas’ vibrant college-bar scene – and then packing arenas all over the state (without label support) – that Level album from 2005 landed like a live wire, injecting EYB into the mainstream. They followed in 2008 with their Gold-certified breakout “Always the Love Songs” and Jet Black & Jealous, one of three career Billboard Top 5 albums which include the Number One 10,000 Towns and Platinum Life At Best. Boasting back-to-back Number One singles with the 5X Platinum “Crazy Girl” in 2011 and 3X Platinum “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” (2012), plus the Platinum Number One “Drunk Last Night,” 2X Platinum Number One “Love Ain’t” and more, the band’s unbroken streak of success has now led to a millions-strong fandom. More new tunes will roll out as 2025 and their 25th anniversary arrive, with the band continuing to celebrate an EYB homecoming.
The 76th Annual Reese’s Senior Bowl will take place on Saturday, February 1 at Hancock Whitney Stadium with kickoff at 1:30 p.m. Enjoy tailgating, Senior Bowl Fan Fest, Senior Bowl’s “Path to the Draft” Team Walk, National Anthem performance by Mobile Native Jennifer Shirley, South Alabama’s Jaguar Marching Band Halftime Performance, featuring the Excelsior Band, known as the oldest marching jazz band in the United States, and many other fan-engaging game day activities.
