Phelps Elects Mobile Partner in 2024 Class
MOBILE — Phelps is pleased to jump-start 2024 with the election of its largest-ever partner class. The Firm welcomes nine new partners across its footprint to reinforce the support it provides businesses that power the Southeast’s major industries.
Phelps’ 2024 partner class includes Danielle Mashburn-Myrick, a member of the firm’s Mobile litigation group who focuses on finding solutions to bankruptcy, insolvency, restructuring and creditors’ rights issues, as well as commercial litigation, for clients in a wide range of industries.
She represents community banks and global financial institutions as well as manufacturers, landlords and asset purchasers in reorganizations and liquidations. She advises companies in distress in connection with debt restructuring and workouts, and, when out-of-court options are unavailable, she represents corporate debtors though bankruptcy. She also works with creditors on commercial foreclosures, collection activities, and recovery of debts and obligations. And she defends lender liability claims and litigates contract disputes in state, bankruptcy and other federal courts.
