BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Parkinson Association of Alabama will host the MOVING FORWARD: South Alabama conference for Parkinson’s Patients at the National Maritime Museum in Mobile.

Currently, approximately 16,000 Alabamians are navigating life with Parkinson’s Disease (PD). Centered around individuals with Parkinson’s, their caregivers, family members, and supporters, the MOVING FORWARD: South Alabama conference is a comprehensive, half-day event featuring speakers, advocates, exhibitors, and resources. Attendees will not only gain insights from pioneers at the forefront of Parkinson’s research and treatment but also have the opportunity to connect with fellow patients, caregivers, friends, family, and the foremost experts in Alabama specializing in Parkinson’s disease.

The event will be held at the National Maritime Museum on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Admission is FREE, but as space is limited, registration is required. Registration is open now at Eventbrite.
