Mobile Fire-Rescue Honors New Firefighters at Graduation Ceremony
Mobile, Ala. — Mobile Fire-Rescue Department (MFRD) proudly announces the graduation of 20 new MFRD firefighters along with three other firefighters from neighboring departments who were honored with a ceremony at Downtown Church at the Steeple in Mobile, Alabama, Friday morning, November 22, 2024.
These newly minted firefighters have undergone extensive training in areas such as firefighting techniques, emergency medical services, hazardous materials response, and search and rescue operations. They are now prepared to serve and protect their communities.
The graduation ceremony was a momentous occasion, filled with pride and excitement. Family, friends, and colleagues gathered to witness the culmination of months of hard work and dedication. The ceremony included speeches from MFRD and city officials and heartfelt remarks from the graduates.
