Founded in 1997 as a lawn care company, J Hunt has since transitioned into civil construction.

J Hunt Enterprise General Contractors LLC provides vast civil construction services such as lot clearing, dirt work and material supply services sourced by mining their own landfills and borrow pits. 

Since 2017, they have developed subdivisions, recreational spaces, RV parks, playgrounds and sports fields in Mobile.

J Hunt’s mission is to provide a great quality of life to citizens of Mobile through construction of residential developments by developing safe roads, streets and recreational spaces all throughout Mobile County.

Since 2013, J Hunt has grown steadily, especially in the past three years. A major endorsement to their contractor licenses has enabled larger job bids and strong fiscal management has increased their bonding capacity. Support from financial and legal professionals has been crucial, and the dedication of their team members is central to their success.

J Hunt supports Habitat for Humanity by providing clearing services, grading and materials. Owner Jeremy Hunt has also volunteered as a baseball coach at Bishop State Community College for seven years, with team support. 

J Hunt completed the Chamber’s “Road Maps to Growth” in 2020 and has been an active member since.
