“On behalf of the Mobile Airport Authority and our hundreds of thousands of passengers in the greater Mobile area, welcome! We are excited, pleased and flattered that you chose to serve our needs for the introductory flight to Orlando,” said Elliot Maisel, Chairman of the Mobile Airport Authority. “We can assure you that we will use your services both on this flight and on flights to other markets as our relationship grows. We are looking forward to great service justified by a great market.”
Mobile Chamber President and CEO Bradley Byrne said, “This is going to work if we fly on these airplanes. The fact that we in Mobile can fly on airplanes that are made here is just the coolest thing in the world. The burden is on us to make sure that we support this airline as they fly in and out of Mobile. I guarantee that the Mobile Chamber and all of our members will do our part, let’s all do our part. It’s a great day for Mobile and the good news just keeps on coming.”
“Today’s announcement by Breeze Airways is exciting for citizens and the future of Mobile International,” said Mayor Sandy Stimpson. “Breeze has an aggressive growth strategy, and their decision to begin this service in Mobile speaks to the bright future of our downtown airport.
