The Thursday, Nov. 7, charity event raises funds for Love All Pantry at Central

MOBILE, AL — Hungry? Art Soup 2024 has announced its all-star roster of chefs and restaurants that will be featured at the annual charity event! Enjoy live music from Disco Lemonade, 20 unique dishes, beverages, and of course, beautiful handmade bowls from area artists.

Art Soup is a yearly event that combines art with philanthropy, making a tangible difference in our community. This year, the cherished occasion will take place on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 6:30-9 p.m., at the National Maritime Museum in downtown Mobile. This unforgettable night will feature live music, dancing, art, culinary delights, and joy — all in support of Love All Pantry at Central, which is dedicated to alleviating hunger for local families.

This year, Art Soup is featuring 19 delicious soups from 19 chefs and restaurants, plus one dessert from an iconic Mobile ice cream maker:

  • ARC Vegan: creamy cauliflower and wild rice soup
  • Carpe Diem: red pepper Gouda soup
  • Felix’s Fish Camp: crab and corn bisque
  • Roosters: chicken tortilla soup
  • Bay Gourmet: chicken and sausage gumbo
  • Original Oyster House: award-winning seafood gumbo
  • Mediterranean Sandwich Co.: curried lentil soup (vegan)

  • Mudbugs: seafood gumbo and rice
  • Sunflower Cafe: lentil soup
  • Tony’s Tejas: Colorado green chili
  • Cammie’s Old Dutch Ice Cream: homemade vanilla, Biscoff and brownie delight ice cream

The “art” in “Art Soup” comes from the exquisite pottery bowls made by local ceramists that attendees get to take home. Your ticket not only grants you one of these unique bowls but also gets you this delectable feast prepared by Mobile’s top restaurants, plus non-alcoholic beverages or alcoholic ones from Gulf Distributing, Braided River Brewing Co. and Oyster City Brewing Co.

Tickets are available now! New this year is a VIP Early Access option, which gets you inside the event at 5:30 p.m., and the first pick of the handcrafted, one-of-a-kind bowls. Tickets also will be available at the door for 6:30 p.m. entry. To sponsor or attend the event, visit loveallpantry.org.

WHAT DOES ART SOUP FUND?

Art Soup directly supports Love All Pantry at Central, a community food pantry in Midtown Mobile that feeds 2,500 struggling families per month with essential fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and grains.

In Mobile County, a quarter of all children and 18% of the total population face food insecurity. This translates to over 71,000 of our neighbors, including more than 16,000 school-age children.

In 2024, our Art Soup goal is to raise $30,000, or 340,000 pounds of groceries for those in need.
