Panini Senior Bowl Expands Commitment to Developing Future Talent Evaluators Through Annual Scout School Initiative
MOBILE, Ala. — The Panini Senior Bowl continues to invest in the future of football scouting through its Scout School initiative, an educational program designed to provide aspiring evaluators with hands-on exposure to the NFL scouting process.
Scout School, taking place this week at the Senior Bowl Office, offers participants an immersive experience into the world of player evaluation, combining classroom instruction with real-world application. The program gives attendees behind-the-scenes insight into player assessment, game preparation, roster construction, and the professional standards utilized at the highest levels of football.
“I’m really excited about being a part of the Senior Bowl’s Scout school program,” said Dallas Cowboys Assistant Director of College Scouting. “What a great way for the Senior Bowl to give back to the NFL and help these players transition into the next part of their professional careers. I’m honored to help in their journey and hopefully give them a look into the personnel side of the NFL.”
Through direct interaction with experienced personnel and exposure to the evaluation process surrounding the Senior Bowl, participants gain practical knowledge that helps prepare them for careers in scouting and football operations.
“Scout School reflects our commitment to growing the game beyond the field,” said Senior Bowl Executive Director Drew Fabianich. “By creating opportunities for former NFL players and aspiring scouts to learn directly from industry professionals, we are helping build the next generation of talent evaluators while strengthening the football scouting pipeline connected to the Panini Senior Bowl.”
As one of the premier events in the pre-draft process, the Panini Senior Bowl has long served as a meeting ground for NFL executives, coaches, and scouts. Scout School extends that mission by creating an educational pathway for emerging evaluators seeking meaningful experience and professional development within the football industry.
By blending education, access, and hands-on learning, Scout School continues to play an important role in developing future leaders in football scouting and personnel evaluation.
