June 2026- The Joe Jefferson Players invite audiences to laugh, cheer, and escape into the glitzy world of musical theater with its upcoming production of The Drowsy Chaperone, running June 12-28 at the Joe Jefferson Playhouse.

A loving parody of classic Broadway musicals, The Drowsy Chaperone tells the story of a devoted theater fan who plays his favorite cast album, bringing the zany characters and extravagant world of a 1920s musical to life in his living room. Filled with dazzling dance numbers, mistaken identities, gangsters, romance, and show-stopping comedy, the production celebrates the joy and magic of live theater.

Winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Book and Best Original Score, The Drowsy Chaperone has delighted audiences around the world with its witty humor and heartfelt message about the power of musicals to lift the human spirit.

Performances will take place Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM from June 12 through June 28, 2026 at the Joe Jefferson Playhouse, 11 South Carlen Street.
