Mobile Chamber Communications Team Earns Multiple Statewide Public Relations Awards

MOBILE, Ala. – The Mobile Chamber’s Communications and Advocacy team received multiple honors at the Public Relations Council of Alabama (PRCA) state conference, earning top recognition for its work across several key initiatives.

The team brought home three Medallion Awards, the organization’s highest honor, for the Chamber’s Membership Matters e-newsletter, the Chamber’s sponsorship website www.mobilechambersponsorships.com and the Mayoral Debate in partnership with FOX10 News.

The Chamber also earned Awards of Excellence for its 2025Annual Meeting and marketing efforts supporting the Chamber travel program, along with an Award of Merit for its 2024 Annual Report.

“These recognitions reflect the high caliber of work our team consistently delivers. Every member of the Communications and Advocacy team played a role in these achievements, and it truly was a collective effort,” said Nancy Hewston, vice president of communications and advocacy for the Mobile Chamber. “I’m incredibly proud to see this team’s hard work recognized in such a meaningful way.”

PRCA’s Medallion Awards program recognizes outstanding public relations work across the state. Entries are judged by industry professionals from across the country and evaluated on research, planning, implementation and results.
