INVITATION TO BID – Kiewit Massman Traylor, a Joint Venture

Kiewit Massman Traylor, a Joint Venture, (KMT) is providing progressive design-build services for the delivery of the Alabama Toll Road, Bridge and Tunnel Authority’s I-10 Bayway Project. The Bayway will be a newly constructed low-level bridge that replaces over 7 miles of existing bridge across the Mobile Bay with a wider structure.

Positioned east of the new Mobile River Bridge, the project will replace two existing two-lane bridges, expanding I-10 from four to six lanes.

KMT is actively soliciting bids from firms interested in subcontractor / supplier opportunities on the project.  Bids are due to KMT on August 14, 2025 by 1pm CDT.

KMT will review all information received through the subcontractor questionnaire and will issue invitations to bid to firms whose demonstrated qualifications and bidding interest align with the scopes being solicited.

KMT is utilizing BuildingConnected for vendor communications regarding plans/specs/addenda distribution.  Stay tuned for notifications via email and BuildingConnected as bid packages become available.

Subcontractors and suppliers, especially including those certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the Alabama Unified Certification Program are welcomed and encouraged to submit bids.
