Alabama Nonprofit Announces New Leadership: Magic Moments welcomes Rachel Rounsaville
Rachel Rounsaville, who previously served as the Development Director of Magic Moments, is taking the helm of the only wish-granting organization devoted exclusively to children in Alabama with chronic life-threatening and acute life-altering medical conditions.
“We are thrilled to welcome Rachel Rounsaville as the new Executive Director of Magic Moments,” said Magic Moments Board Chair Jane Huston Crommelin. “Her passion for our mission, along with her extensive experience, makes her the perfect fit to guide us into an exciting new chapter.”
Rounsaville brings with her a strong background of nonprofit development experience, having partnered with donors to empower them to make a direct, life-changing impact on those in need. She has enjoyed learning from supporters what they hope to accomplish with their gifts of time and resources, and then sharing how they can partner with each other to make magic!
In her new role, Rounsaville is most looking forward to more deeply connecting with the children and families served by Magic Moments. Throughout her career, Rounsaville has always made a point to work with children and families, both professionally and as a volunteer, having made a lasting impact on the many lives she’s touched.
“I am beyond excited to step into the role of Executive Director of Magic Moments,” Rounsaville said. “This organization holds a special place in my heart, and I am truly honored to contribute to its vibrant legacy. I look forward to working alongside our talented team to bring hope and joy to the children and families we serve.”
Rounsaville officially assumed her role as Executive Director on January 1, 2025. She steps into the position following the tenure of Sandy Naramore, who led Magic Moments for eight years prior to retiring December 31, 2024.
