SAWDC AlabamaWorks! has partnered with Coastal Alabama Community College to host a hiring and outreach event on Friday, January 24, 2025. 

MOBILE, Ala. – SAWDC AlabamaWorks! and Coastal Alabama Community College would like to invite you to an aviation hiring event on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. hosted at the Alabama Aviation Center, located at 1975 Avenue C, Mobile, Alabama.

The event brings together local businesses, industry leaders, and job seekers for a unique opportunity to connect and build a skilled workforce in the aviation field and beyond. “We’re thrilled to welcome our regional partners to the Alabama Aviation Center for an event that promises valuable connections for both employers and job seekers,” said SAWDC AlabamaWorks Executive Director, Bridget Wilson. “This is an incredible opportunity for our community to come together to support employment growth and build career pathways.”

• Industry partners include AAA United States, Inc., AE & C Services, Aerostar, Airbus, Collins Aerospace, Collins Aerospace MRO, Lockheed Martin, MAAS Aviation, PHI Aviation, Segers Aero Corporation, ST Engineering-Mobile Aerospace Engineering, and the U.S. Army.
• Bishop State Community College and Coastal Alabama Community College will also be present to provide details about their aviation training programs.

Candidates attending the event are encouraged to dress in business casual attire and bring copies of their resumes (though not required). This come-and-go event is free and open to the public.
