Mobile, AL, August 21, 2024 – Cardiology Associates is pleased to announce the addition of two new cardiologists, Dr. William K. Harvey Jr. and Dr. R. Ashton Vautier to their experienced team in Mobile.

Dr. William K. Harvey Jr., a mobile native, recently completed his cardiovascular diseases fellowship at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he served as chief cardiology fellow. Before his specialized training in cardiology, Dr. Harvey completed his residency in internal medicine at The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and earned his medical degree from The University of South Alabama in Mobile.

Dr. Ashton Vautier also returns to Mobile to join Cardiology Associates. Dr. Vautier completed his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at The University of Florida in Gainesville. He completed his internal medicine residency at The University of South Florida in Tampa, where he was chief resident. He earned his medical degree from The University of South Alabama. Prior to pursuing a career in medicine, Dr. Vautier was a civilian electronics engineer for the United States Air Force.

Both Dr. Harvey and Dr. Vautier are looking forward to helping patients in Mobile and in the Gulf Coast region with their heart health to live longer, healthier and more fulfilling lives.
