Important Election Dates

April 16, 2024 – Primary Runoff Election (if necessary)

April 1 – Voter registration deadline

April 9 – Last day to apply for an absentee ballot by mail

April 9 – Last day to apply for an absentee ballot by mail

April 11- Last day to apply for an absentee ballot in person

April 15 – Last day to hand-deliver absentee ballot

April 16 – Absentee ballots returned by mail must be received by noon*

 

Your Congressional District May Have Changed:

You may not be voting in the same congressional district as previous years. The primary on March 5 is the first election in Alabama using the new, court-ordered congressional districts, meaning Semmes, Spring Hill, Midtown, Downtown, Tillman’s Corner and many other parts of Mobile are now District 2 instead of District 1.
