MOBILE, ALA. – Burton Property Group (BPG), a leading Southeastern property development firm, today announced the promotion of Joe Roe Burton to Director of Business Development and the addition of Robin Hayles as Director of Property Services. Both moves take effect March 25.

BPG has executed more than $1 billion in real estate projects since 2012 and has more than $1 billion in the development pipeline. BPG’s most significant project to date is the South Alabama Logistics Park (SALP), a 1300 acre master-planned industrial complex containing 500,000 square feet in operation and capacity for an additional 11 million square feet.  Burton Property Group is also developing River Walk Plaza in Downtown Mobile. River Walk Plaza will be Mobile’s only riverfront mixed-use hospitality, hotel, office and residential development.

The promotion of Joe Roe Burton, a founding investor of the company, underscores BPG’s commitment to leveraging its foundational strengths to drive future growth and innovation. He will be a member of the firm’s executive team.

In his expanded role, Burton will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and enhancing the company’s market presence. Burton’s focus will include expanding the company’s portfolio and exploring innovative approaches to real estate development that align with Burton Property Group’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and community enrichment.

Prior to joining Burton Property Group, Hayles held various senior management positions with expertise covering a broad spectrum of asset and property management including strategic planning, budget optimization, sustainability initiatives and team leadership.  She has a history of streamlining operations, enhancing property values and performance and ensuring tenant satisfaction.
