Newly created executive role strengthens operational leadership as Mobile engineering firm positions for continued growth

MOBILE, Ala. — August 28, 2026 — The Bethel Group, a multi-discipline engineering firm based in Mobile, today announced the appointment of Todd Hoffman as Chief Operating Officer. The newly created executive position reports directly to Vince LaCoste, P.E., Founder, Owner and President.

Hoffman will lead day-to-day operations across the firm’s structural engineering, civil/site design, and FORTIFIED evaluation service lines. His responsibilities include strengthening operational systems, improving cross-discipline collaboration, supporting team performance and accountability, and building the organizational capacity needed to support the firm’s continued growth along the southeastern US.

He will work closely with department leaders and the broader team to support consistent delivery and sustainable scale.
