The University of South Alabama has broken ground on a new Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine building, allowing the university to accelerate research and innovation while graduating more physicians each year. The $200 million facility is set to be completed in 2026. When open, more than 500,000 square feet of campus facilities will be dedicated to healthcare education and research.
