2025 Mobile Community Health Leadership Awards
MOBILE, Ala. – The Mobile Medical Museum will present the sixth annual Mobile Community Health Leadership Awards on Saturday, May 17, 2025. Awards will be presented to local leaders in education, awareness, and action around Mobile’s most urgent community health issues.
The 2025 Honorees are:
▪ Carolyn Thompson, Founder, Tri-Coastal Community Outreach
▪ Dr. Tyler Sturdivant, Associate Dean-Nursing, Coastal Alabama Community College
▪ Jada Gardner, Director of Staff Development, University of South Alabama Health System
▪ Nicole Lemon, community volunteer and medical student at University of South Alabama
▪ Dr. Veronica Hudson, Internal Manager and Organizer, USA Health Workforce Development
▪ Dr. Sheila Ross, RN Stroke Certification Coordinator, University of South Alabama and Infirmary Health (posthumous award)
▪ Maggie Rivers, MOWA Choctaw Indians Community Liaison
▪ Councilman Corey Penn, Mobile City Council District 1
▪ Ramsey Sprague, Board President and Program Manager, Mobile Environmental Justice Action Coalition
▪ Carey Arensberg, Social Emotional Behavior Specialist, St. Mary’s Catholic School

The awards will be presented during a catered reception at the Strada Patient Care Center on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 10 am to 12 pm. Tickets are priced at $35 per individual or $200 for a table of six guests and will go on sale in March.
